ROUND 1 - Take orders now for the August 30 deadline (first wave/show & sell) - September 18-20 delivery to Pack. (Remember, 30% of sales comes back to the Pack!)
SHOW & SELL - The first order goes in on Monday, August 30. Think of pre-purchasing items to take to work, the gym, etc. to "show" people what they can get and take orders for the October order. OR order some product now to just sell.
ROUND 2 - Get your order forms and take orders through October 24. All / final orders will be due at the October 25 Pack meeting. November 21-23 delivery to the Pack.
NEW! ON-LINE ORDERING - Each scout sets up an account through www.trails-end.com/trailsend/scouts to set up an e-mail template to send popcorn e-mails to out-of-town/out-of-state family and friends can purchase and help the Pack.
DID WE MENTION that 30% of sales comes back to the Pack! We are requesting a minimum order of $100 from each scout OR you can chose to “buy out” with a check for $30 to Pack (due at Sept. 27 Pack Meeting).
Folks don't really want the popcorn? Ask them to consider the $25 or $40 Armed Forces Popcorn/Popcorn for Our Troops order or to make a straight monetary donation to our Pack! (Checks can be made out to Long Beach Cub Scout Pack 23). :-)
Regatta & Family Picnic
Meet & Greet potential new scouts AND a Pack Fundraiser!
Pan Am Park north end; Arbor Road and Charlemagne.
Boys will purchase and paint their boats prior to lunchtime. Go pick up lunch at Rubio's Mexican Grill for another PACK FUNDRAISER and come back to the park to picnic and mix and meet new folks!
Regatta races after lunch. First race at approximately 1 PM.
